Tersk (also called Terek or Tersky)

The Tersk is a Russian breed of light riding horse originating in the North Caucasus, specifically at the Tersk Stud and Stavropol stud farms. It was created in the 20th century with the aim of producing a breeding horse with Arabian characteristics but a larger and more durable body, capable of working in a variety of conditions and disciplines.
