Areas of application

SL 59 is ideal for building aquariums and terrariums, as well as for all-glass constructions.
The required glass thickness for the base plate and side panels depends on the dimensions of the aquarium.
Depending on the thickness of the glass, we recommend a minimum width of 1.5 mm for the dimensioning of the glued joints.

Properties

SL 59 is non-toxic for fish and other sensitive animals. It is characterized by optimal self-adhesiveness to glass. It is resistant to fresh and sea water.

Application instructions
The substrates must be dry and free of dust, oil and grease. Processing at temperatures from +5°C to +40°C. Clean the contact surfaces of the sealant with a cleaner. SL 59 must be inserted into the joints without bubbles. Transport may only take place after the adhesive has completely hardened.
The adhesive must be completely hardened before the pool is filled with water for the first time.
