Method of action: The flowing water is exposed to UV-C radiation. Organisms such as algae, bacteria, viruses and parasites are destroyed. Incidentally, ozone is also generated. This helps to break down harmful substances (redox). The flow rate has a decisive influence. If you only want to combat algae, viruses and bacteria (including cyanobacteria), a 2,500 l/h pump is sufficient. In order to even eliminate parasites, we recommend limiting the flow rate to 800 l/h. Visible results can be expected after 1 - 2 days.

Operating conditions: Flow must be guaranteed. Protect against contamination, check for unobstructed flow regularly, clean if necessary. Do not operate without water cooling / flow. Never look directly into the UV light (risk of eye damage). The device can only be operated in the closed state. We recommend replacing the bulb approximately once a year.
