BACTOPLUS GEL 250ml (5 000L)

There are two other bacteria in bactoplus:

AOB - converts ammonia to nitrite

NOB - converts nitrite to nitrate

Both processes take place with the use of oxygen; therefore it is important that the water flowing through the filter is enriched with oxygen.
BactoPlus Filter Starter (gel) contains AOB and Nob in large quantities, up to 800 million bacteria per ml.

Bacto GEL is specially developed for biological filtration and ensures good adhesion so that the bacteria can attach to the filter material sooner. Bacto plus gel bacteria will put the filter into operation in a short time of ± 3/4 weeks, at rising temperatures.

Bacto Plus GEL is used for starting / maintaining a new filter. We then recommend topping up Bacto plus in the spring (250ml to 5,000 litres of pond water).

Turn off the filter for a day and provide good aeration. Also make sure that the UV lamp or ozone device is switched off for 24 hours.

Maintenance dose to the filter (20 ml per 1000 liters of pond water) weekly. Bacto plus gel bacteria secrete a specific odor into the bottle. Bacto bacteria are 100% natural and do not contain chemicals and are pathogen-free.
