Very good biological action of the Floating Bed Filter

Floating Bed filtration has developed for aquaculture. It consists of floating plastic bioblocks that have a very high surface adhesion, thanks to which they are continuously kept in motion by aeration. Aeration is from the bottom, so that the filter media is constantly stirred in the water column. The bacterial culture will develop very well and after approximately 2 months, the white rings will turn brown where the bacteria have settled. The system is practically maintenance-free and the biological activity is extremely high
