The Gidrán (or Gidrán ló, Hungarian Anglo-Arab) is a Hungarian breed of riding and sport horse, which originated in the first decades of the 19th century at the Mezőhegyes State Stud. It is known primarily for its combination of elegance, athleticism and endurance — a legacy of Arabian, Spanish, Turkish and English ancestors.
