On the outlet side, water is sucked from the drum. Since part of the wastewater is located in the front and in the drum, the dirt will stick to the inside of the drum. When sludge begins to accumulate, it clogs the drum screen and thus the level begins to rise. When it reaches the required height, it sends a signal that sets the rinsing cycle in motion. This cycle consists of activating the drum motor and the spray pump. This allows the drum to rotate slightly more than a full revolution and the spray nozzles clean the screen. The dirt is discharged into the sewer via the outlet. This cycle is repeated as often as necessary.
The Filtreco drum filter is fed by 3 x Ø 110mm inlets and consists of two chambers that are separated. Stainless steel components ensure a high-quality finish to the unit. The drum is also equipped with 3 unique brushes that throw leaves and algae into the drain. The entire drum can be easily removed from the filter. These sprayers are equipped with a quick-release system for easy cleaning. The entire jet line can be easily removed. The jets are powered by a high-pressure pump that is mounted in the filter. The height measurement can be easily adjusted.
The filter drum can be extended with a movable bed (biochamber).
